Strengthening Sisterhood in Iloilo: JCI Manila Joins Ilang-Ilang Induction

Members of JCI Manila traveled to Iloilo on December 13, 2025 to attend the induction ceremonies of JCI Iloilo Ilang‑Ilang, marking a meaningful show of support for one of the chapter’s sister organizations.

The visit was organized by project chairman Paolo Clavel, who coordinated the Onto activities that brought JCI Manila members to Iloilo for the occasion. The delegation joined Ilang-Ilang members and guests in celebrating the formal induction of the chapter’s new leadership.

The evening highlighted the installation of Kate Atienza Alba as President, together with the rest of the chapter’s newly inducted officers and members. The ceremony served as a milestone for the organization as it welcomed a new leadership team tasked with guiding the chapter through its upcoming projects and initiatives.

Representatives from JCI Manila expressed their appreciation to the Ilang-Ilang chapter for the invitation and the opportunity to take part in the celebration. The gathering reinforced the long-standing camaraderie between the two organizations, demonstrating the strong network of support among JCI chapters across the country.

Beyond the formal induction program, the visit also included several activities that strengthened connections between members of both chapters. Participants joined a tree-planting activity that highlighted the shared commitment to environmental responsibility, followed by fellowship gatherings that provided opportunities for members to interact outside of formal meetings.

The delegation also took time to visit Guimaras Island, known for its natural landscapes and mango farms. The trip offered a chance for members to experience the local culture and scenery while further strengthening relationships built through the JCI network.

The series of activities—from the induction ceremony and environmental initiative to fellowship events and the Guimaras visit—underscored the value of inter-chapter engagement within JCI. These exchanges allow members to build friendships, share experiences, and support each other’s leadership journeys.

JCI Manila extended its congratulations to President Kate Atienza Alba and the officers and members of JCI Iloilo Ilang-Ilang. The visit also served as a reminder that the strength of the JCI movement lies not only in the projects undertaken by individual chapters, but also in the solidarity shared among its members across the country.
