Engines, Endorphins, and Empathy Drive JCI Manila’s Hit D Trail

A quiet morning in Cavite turned into a full-blown outdoor adventure on April 26, 2025, as JCI Manila members and guests gathered at the 10-hectare CDS Playground in Arden Botanical Estate for “Hit D Trail”—an exclusive membership welfare event designed to energize, connect, and inspire.

The day kicked off at 6:00 AM with a scenic trail run, where participants embraced the crisp morning air and winding paths of Arden. Runners were greeted by lush greenery, scenic views, and the kind of clarity only a pre-dawn jog can bring. It set the tone for a day that promised both movement and meaning.

By 11:00 AM, the tempo eased into a more relaxed beat as members and their families gathered for a midday picnic. Blankets were laid out under the trees, food and drinks flowed freely, and laughter echoed across the field. It was the perfect blend of nature and nurture—time well-spent building friendships and memories.

Then came the day’s main event. At 1:00 PM, engines roared to life for the much-awaited off-road trail drive. Members climbed aboard rugged 4×4 vehicles and trail bikes to conquer the terrain—dust flying, adrenaline surging. Whether at the wheel or riding shotgun, participants felt the full thrill of off-road adventure as they powered through Cavite’s wild trails.

The event was organized under the Membership Wellness Directorate, headed by Nico Sevilla, as part of JCI Manila’s ongoing commitment to enhancing member experience and engagement. At the helm of the event was Organizing Committee Chairman Kimho Cotaoco, supported by Sameer Jadwani, Patrick Chan and Euson Go, whose efforts ensured smooth execution and unforgettable moments throughout the day.

As the engines cooled and the sun began its descent, JCI Manila capped the event with a heartfelt donation of food packs to nearby residents, sharing the spirit of service with the surrounding community. It was a gesture that reminded everyone that the JCI mission doesn’t stop at fun—it always leads back to purpose.
