JCI Manila Delivers Record-Breaking Performance with 40 Awards at 46th Metro Area Conference

JCI Manila delivered a record-setting performance at the 46th JCI Philippines Metro Area Conference, earning 32 Golden Titan Awards and eight Silver Skyline Awards across leadership, community development, sustainability, international cooperation, communications, public health, education, tourism, and organizational excellence.

Held in Muntinlupa under the banner “All Stars Lead to Alabang,” the Area Conference brought together JCI chapters from across Area 2 for leadership, fellowship, and recognition. JCI Manila fielded a delegation of more than 100 members, excluding delegates from its sister chapters, with Comm. George Vincent co-leading the chapter’s AreaCon coordination and helping organize the delegation for the conference. The host chapter’s official AreaCon information describes the gathering as a platform for chapters to celebrate impact, strengthen relationships, and recognize outstanding projects and leadership.

JCI Manila finished with 40 Golden Titan and Silver Skyline Awards, alongside three additional finalist recognitions. Several entries also advanced to the highest levels of competition.

Leadership and Organizational Excellence

Among the chapter’s strongest individual recognitions was Edison Ke: Leadership That is FELT, REAL, and SHARED, which ranked among the Top 2 Finalists for Most Outstanding JCI Local President – CATEGORY I and received a Golden Titan. Pres. Edison also received Best of the Best President, while JCI Manila earned the Golden Titan for Best Local Organization – Category I.
Leading the Chan-ge was declared Winner for Most Outstanding Associate Member, while Lead Beyond Recruitment: University of Leaders reached the Top 5 for Best Local Growth and Development Program.
Other Golden Titan recipients included From Teachers to Nation Builders: The Padiernos Family Legacy for Most Outstanding JCI Family and Lead Beyond The Week for Best JCI Week Celebration.

Community and Development Impact

JCI Manila’s community programs accounted for many of its strongest results.

FROM SOIL TO SHELF ranked among the Top 3 Finalists for Best Food Security and Sustainability Program; DARE TO CARE: HEART OF THE CHAPTER reached the Top 4 for Best Digital Impact and Innovation Program; and ALERTO 2026 reached the Top 5 for Best Disaster Risk Reduction Program. All three received Golden Titans.
Other Golden Titan recipients included LIFEBLOOD PH for Best Civic Involvement Program, CARE FOR LIFE for Best Public Health Program, FARMS FOR PEACE: BASILAN for Best Peace Advocacy Program, and Ten Outstanding Guro Awards Year 5 for Best Long-Term Local Community Program.
WAVES OF ABILITY reached the Top 4 for Best Inclusivity Program for Persons with Disabilities, while THREADS OF LIFE and Dreambuilders received Golden Titans for Best Local Community Impact Program and Best Local Global Goals Project, respectively.

Tourism, Sustainability and Collaboration

Tagong Yaman: Rediscover the Walled City (A Multi-Year Heritage Tourism Partnership with the Intramuros Administration) reached the Top 5 for Best Tourism Program, while BEYOND THE BARS: PROJECT FRESH START reached the Top 5 for Best Environmental Sustainability Program. Both received Golden Titans.
One of JCI Manila’s highest project distinctions came through Beyond the Manila Experience, which reached the Top 5 for Best Inter-Organization Collaboration Project, received a Golden Titan, and ultimately earned another Golden Titan as Best of the Best Project.

Asian Pearl and Communications Excellence

JCI Manila’s communications work also emerged among the chapter’s strongest performers.

The official publication competed as ASIAN PEARL: 67 Years Forward, The Global Standard for Civic Publishing, ranking among the Top 2 Finalists for Best JCI Local Organization Publication and receiving a Golden Titan.

BEYOND THE CLICK: LEADING THE DIGITAL FRONT likewise reached the Top 2 for Best JCI Local Organization Website and received a Golden Titan, while BEYOND THE FEED: LEADING THROUGH 70 WEEKS OF DIGITAL IMPACT ranked among the Top 3 Finalists for Best Digital Marketing Campaign.

International Works Recognition

Lead Beyond Borders: Strengthening the Brotherhood Toward the World Congress ranked among the Top 2 Finalists for Best International Development Program and received a Golden Titan. Golden Heart Beyond reached the Top 4 for Best International Human Duties Project and likewise earned a Golden Titan.
Meanwhile, THE HUMILITY TO SERVE ON A GLOBAL STAGE: Richard “Dods” Lim Jr ranked among the Top 5 Finalists for Most Outstanding JCI Senator and received a Silver Skyline Award.

JCI Manila’s 32 Golden Titan Awards and eight Silver Skyline Awards reflected the breadth of the chapter’s work across community service, leadership development, communications, sustainability, international relations, and organizational growth.

For Asian Pearl, itself a Golden Titan recipient, the achievement becomes part of the history it exists to preserve: a record of JCI Manila members translating leadership into action and creating lasting impact.

With Best Local Organization – Category I, Best of the Best Project, Best of the Best President, and a wide range of project and individual recognitions, the 46th Metro Area Conference marked a new benchmark for JCI Manila.
