On January 10, 2026, beneath the glowing skyline of Hong Kong, JCI Manila proudly stood alongside our international brothers and sisters at the JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes Inauguration and Monthly Fellowship Meeting. Held at the prestigious Intercontinental Grand Stanford Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, the evening was a celebration of leadership, legacy, and the unbreakable bonds that transcend borders.

With Chairman George Kim at the helm of this meaningful visit, the delegation came in full force, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and shared purpose. Representing JCI Manila were:
PE Edison Ke, DE Alf Yaptinchay, Chair George Kim, Chair Christian Gubz Guballa, John Fidelino, and Comm Serge Sebastian—each carrying with them the pride of our chapter and the commitment to build stronger global connections.

The highlight of the evening was the formal inauguration of President Connie Kwan Togawa and her 2026 Board of Directors. As she took her oath, the room was filled with anticipation and inspiration—a reminder that leadership is not merely a title, but a responsibility to serve, uplift, and lead beyond limits. It was a powerful moment that resonated deeply with everyone in attendance, reinforcing our shared mission of creating positive change.

But beyond the ceremony, what truly defined this experience was the fellowship.
The delegation was treated to a vibrant double-decker bus tour across Hong Kong, offering not just a scenic journey through the city’s iconic streets, but also a moving symbol of unity among sister chapters. Laughter echoed through the night as stories were exchanged, friendships deepened, and cultures intertwined.

The experience was capped off with an authentic Hong Kong hotpot dinner shared with the Board of Directors—a setting that perfectly embodied warmth, connection, and genuine fellowship. Around the table, conversations flowed as freely as the broth, creating moments that will be remembered long after the night ended.

This visit was more than just attendance—it was participation in a shared vision. It was a testament to what JCI stands for: leadership that knows no borders, friendships that stand the test of time, and a commitment to grow together as one global community.

As we continue to Lead Beyond, this experience reminds us that our journey is not confined within our own cities. It extends across nations, cultures, and hearts—building bridges that empower us to become better leaders and better individuals.
To JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes, congratulations on a remarkable inauguration. And to President Connie Kwan Togawa, may your year be filled with purpose, impact, and excellence.
Because in JCI, we don’t just attend events—we create connections that last a lifetime.
