In a time when many students quietly struggle with financial challenges, access to proper nutrition can make a critical difference in their ability to succeed. Through a meaningful initiative focused on this need, JCI Makati Princess Urduja continues to create impact through EATSKOLAR—a program that transforms support into sustenance.

EATSKOLAR is a community-driven initiative led by the University of the Philippines Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and the University Food Service. Its mission is clear: to provide healthy, nutritious meals to students facing financial hardship, ensuring they have the energy and focus needed to pursue their academic goals.

Held on April 24, 2026, at Culture Salon & Style Lounge in BGC, the initiative gathered advocates and partners who believe that no student should have to compromise their education due to lack of basic needs. Leading the project is Ma. Lyn Caubalejo, whose efforts continue to drive the program forward and expand its reach.

The reality EATSKOLAR addresses is both simple and urgent. Many students face daily decisions that impact their well-being—often choosing between spending on meals or other essential expenses. Without proper nutrition, focus, energy, and academic performance suffer.

Through EATSKOLAR, each contribution directly translates into a meal—giving students the nourishment they need to stay engaged, motivated, and present in their studies.
More than a feeding initiative, EATSKOLAR is an investment in the future. Every meal provided is a step toward helping students complete their education, achieve their goals, and contribute meaningfully to society.
It is not just about food.
It is about dignity.
It is about opportunity.
It is about hope.
Through this initiative, JCI Makati Princess Urduja continues to demonstrate how leadership can create tangible, everyday impact—supporting communities in ways that are both practical and transformative.

Because sometimes, the most powerful change begins with something as simple as a meal.
And in every plate served, there is a quiet but powerful message:
You are supported.
You are valued.
You are given the chance to succeed.
You are given the chance to succeed.
