Here’s a fun fact: When JCI Manila celebrated its 30th anniversary, the year was marked not just by a grand celebration—but by the birth of a legacy in print. Spearheaded by Senator Reginald Yu, the organization launched a publication aptly named Asian Pearl—a nod to the pearl anniversary tradition.

Fast forward to today, and that name carries even deeper meaning.

Now reborn as JCI Manila’s official online news and media platform, Asian Pearl takes inspiration from something far older and more poetic—Dr. Jose Rizal’s dream of the Philippines as the “Pearl of the Orient Seas.” A dream of a nation radiant with promise, driven by intellect, courage, and purpose.

And that’s exactly what we aim to reflect.

Asian Pearl isn’t just a publication—it’s our official voice. A dynamic, digital-first platform that tells the stories of young leaders, bold ideas, and meaningful impact. It’s where the heartbeat of JCI Manila becomes visible, readable, and shareable.

From behind-the-scenes looks at programs and events, to deep dives into leadership, entrepreneurship, social impact, and civic engagement, Asian Pearl captures what’s shaping our community and country.
