The Asian Pearl Named Finalist at 48th Catholic Mass Media Awards, Eyes Back-to-Back Win

The Asian Pearl, JCI Manila’s official publication, has been named a finalist at the 48th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA), putting it in contention for a second consecutive victory following its win in 2025.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 25, 2026. A win would mark back-to-back CMMA honors, adding another milestone to the publication’s long history of recognition.

Following its digital relaunch in 2025, The Asian Pearl has expanded beyond the traditional role of an organization newsletter. Through its website and commemorative print editions, it documents community initiatives, preserves institutional memory, and provides space for diverse perspectives and public-interest reporting.

Its commitment to editorial independence, accuracy, and accessible storytelling has helped bring JCI Manila’s stories to audiences beyond the chapter.

This year’s finalist recognition affirms that continuing mission: to publish stories that inform, connect, and give meaning to civic leadership and community service.
