PE JM Santos Elected JCI Manila President for 2027, New Board Named

MANILA — John Michael Ceniza Santos was elected President of JCI Manila for 2027 as the chapter elected its incoming president and Board of Directors on September 29 at The Rizal Park Hotel in Manila.

Santos, now President Elect JM Santos or PE JM, received 300 votes, the highest tally alongside Peter Guan See Espiritu, who also received 300 votes.

The election formally sets in motion JCI Manila’s leadership transition for 2027, with PE JM and the newly elected Board set to succeed the 2026 administration led by Pres Eds.

Following the announcement of the results, PE JM thanked the membership for its support and trust, as well as those who took part in the electoral process.

Pres Eds also congratulated PE JM and the newly elected Board of Directors and thanked the members, candidates and those involved in the elections.

Election Results

The tally presented during Election Night showed the following results:

1. John Michael Ceniza Santos — 300 votes
2. Peter Guan See Espiritu — 300 votes
3. Alexander Cantor — 283 votes
4. Joseph Michael Gonzalez Rastrullo — 278 votes
5. Richardson Chua — 278 votes
6. John David Roque — 275 votes
7. Julius Charles Torres — 275 votes
8. Antonio Romulo Gonzales Tamayo — 274 votes
9. Jannyck Martin Legaspi Lim — 273 votes
10. Martin De Joya — 271 votes
11. Vincent Jalbuena Gustilo — 271 votes
12. Jerold Ang Santos — 269 votes
13. Joe Louise Lee Garcia — 269 votes
14. David Grampon Ramos — 264 votes
15. Dino Singzon De Leon — 260 votes

PE JM and the 14 elected directors will comprise JCI Manila’s incoming leadership for 2027.

The results follow the chapter’s Know Your Candidate Forum held September 24, where candidates presented their plans and answered questions from the membership ahead of the elections.

During the forum, PE JM presented a platform centered on the membership experience, including efforts to strengthen connections among members and increase their engagement with the organization.

“It is easy to feel lonely in a membership of 600,” PE JM said during the forum. “A member can attend the GMM and not actually meet anyone.”

The September 29 elections were administered by the JCI Manila Commission on Elections, chaired by AVP Calel Gosingtian, who served on the JCI Manila Board in 2024.

The incoming leadership will take over from Pres Eds and the 2026 Board following the completion of their term, beginning JCI Manila’s next annual leadership cycle in 2027.
