JCI World Congress 2026 Strengthens Coordination with DFA Ahead of International Gathering

MANILA, Philippines — As the Philippines prepares to welcome the global JCI community to Clark for the 2026 JCI World Congress, the Diplomatic Affairs Group of JCI Philippines paid a courtesy call on the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) – Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) to strengthen coordination and foster closer collaboration ahead of the international gathering.

The JCI delegation was led by Hridesh “Raj” Parwani, Chairperson of the Diplomatic Affairs Group, together with members of the Diplomatic Affairs Committee, Vice Chairman Atty. Chris Vinculado, George Vincent Co, and Ryan Chua representing the organizing efforts of the 2026 JCI World Congress, JCI Philippines, JCI Manila, and JCI Angeles City Culiat.

Representing the DFA Office of Consular Affairs were Maria Flordeliza A. Tuiza, Acting Director of the Visa Division, and Grace Anne G. Bulos, Executive Director for Operations and Administration, together with members of the DFA-OCA Visa Division.

The courtesy call provided an opportunity for the Diplomatic Affairs delegation to formally present the 2026 JCI World Congress and strengthen the relationship between JCI and the Philippine government as preparations continue for the arrival of international participants.

Strengthening Government and International Relations

The engagement forms part of the continuing work of the Diplomatic Affairs Group to build meaningful relationships with Philippine government agencies, diplomatic missions, international organizations, and other stakeholders in preparation for the World Congress.

The JCI delegation expressed its appreciation to the DFA-OCA for the opportunity to meet and engage in a constructive discussion. The courtesy call also highlighted the importance of continued coordination as the Philippines prepares to welcome JCI members and guests from around the world.

For the organizers, the success of a global event goes beyond the Congress program itself. It also involves creating a welcoming, organized, and positive experience for international participants from the time they begin planning their journey to the Philippines until their departure.

Welcoming the World to Clark

The 2026 JCI World Congress, scheduled for November 11–15, 2026 in Clark, Pampanga, will bring together JCI members, leaders, partners, and guests from more than 120 countries and territories.

For JCI Philippines, hosting the World Congress is an opportunity to showcase not only the strength of the JCI movement in the Philippines, but also the country’s culture, hospitality, and ability to bring people from different nations together.

The Diplomatic Affairs Group of the JCI World Congress Commitee, together with JCI Philippines, JCI Manila, and JCI Angeles City Culiat, will continue engaging with government and international partners as preparations move forward.

The courtesy call represents another step toward building stronger partnerships and ensuring that the Philippines is ready to welcome the global JCI community.

The Philippines is ready to welcome the world.
