MAKATI CITY, Philippines — Leadership is built through service, but it is strengthened through friendship.
On the evening of July 28, 2026, JCI Manila members gathered at B Billiard Hall & Bar, Circuit Makati for an evening that celebrated one of the organization’s greatest strengths: the bonds of fellowship that unite Jaycees beyond meetings and projects.

Dubbed “9 Ball, Chess and Karaoke Night,” the fellowship brought together brothers and sisters from across the JCI family for a night filled with friendly competition, laughter, and meaningful conversations. Hosted by Project Chairman Patrick Clavel, the event welcomed sister chapters JCI Makati Princess Urduja, JCI Davaoena Daba-Daba, JCI M24K, JCI Marikina Marikit, and JCI Manileña, together with daughter chapter JCI Las Piñas Waterlily. The evening also welcomed special invited chapters JCI Makati, JCI Angeles Culiat, JCI San Juan Pinaglabanan and JCI Dagupan Bangus, transforming the venue into a vibrant gathering of leaders connected by a shared passion for service and camaraderie.

Throughout the evening, members tested their skills at the billiard tables, challenged one another over the chessboard, and took to the microphone for spirited karaoke performances. While games determined winners and songs entertained the crowd, the true highlight of the night was the opportunity for members from different chapters to reconnect, forge new friendships, and strengthen the relationships that define the JCI experience.

More than a social gathering, the event reflected JCI Manila’s commitment to cultivating a vibrant membership culture. By creating opportunities for members to connect beyond formal programs, the chapter continues to foster an environment where collaboration, mentorship, and lifelong friendships naturally flourish.

The fellowship also showcased the enduring relationship between JCI Manila and its sister and daughter chapters. The presence of members from across Luzon and Mindanao demonstrated the strength of the organization’s nationwide network and the spirit of unity that continues to bring chapters together. As members shared stories, celebrated one another’s victories, and enjoyed the evening together, they reaffirmed that the JCI journey is enriched not only by impactful community projects but also by the genuine friendships formed along the way.

The success of the event was made possible through the dedication of Project Chairman Patrick Clavel and his organizing team, with special recognition to Director for Membership Benefits Clifford Aw and Director for Membership Development Erwin Bolivar, whose leadership and commitment helped transform the evening into a memorable celebration of brotherhood and sisterhood.

As the night came to a close, one thing became clear: while trophies, titles, and accomplishments may define an organization’s history, it is moments like these that define its heart.
Because in JCI Manila, every game played, every match contested, every song shared, and every laugh exchanged strengthens the fellowship that empowers members to lead, serve, and grow together.
